General Job Summary:
This is a full-time position located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Primary responsibilities include leading initiatives and projects that create robust partnerships with regional K-12 school districts, businesses, industries, organizations, and other community partners in order to enhance project-based learning, work experiences aligned with industry-recognized credentials, student learner programs, career exploration, pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, and internships. Some evening and weekend duties required; moderate regional and state travel required.

- Represent the college in a positive, professional manner with prospective, former and current students, staff, and community.
- Assume responsibility; deal effectively with problems and exercise independent judgement when making decisions.
- Establish and maintain good working relations with school districts, other College personnel, and the communities.
- Read, understand and express oneself clearly and effectively in oral and written communication.
- Be a creative, energetic, and self-motivated individual with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to efficiently perform tasks in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to utilize a personal computer to access information, enter data, and develop reports.
- Ability to effectively relate to diverse groups of students.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Special Demands:
Sedentary to light work. Position involves sitting most of the time and driving to local districts and businesses. Constant (67-100%) reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and viewing various types of close visual work. Frequent (34-66%) stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and carrying. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds of force frequently. Required to utilize personal vehicle for some travel. Must have valid driver's license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Will require flexible hours including weekend and evenings and moderate travel.
Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with two years of demonstrated successful, relevant experience in areas such as education, communications, business and/or project management, or program and resource development.
Salary: $22.12 per hour
