Our client is the Retail Channel Ops team of a global leader in tech seeking a Retail Merchandising Planner. This is a 40 hours/week, 6-month assignment with likely extension that will be onsite 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday, nonnegotiable) in Plano, TX and remote on Fridays. We are targeting a start date in early January.

The Retail Merchandising Planner will:
- Develop, implement, maintain and track retail merchandising strategies and initiatives in a specific product category
- Work cross-functionally and cross channel to finalize planning, cost structure, and volumes within planogram software across over 28K points of distribution
- Manage merchandising planogram tracking and asset tracking in partnership with channel, sales and product teams to optimize sales across product categories
- Own planning and implementation of display units, visual merchandising elements, digital displays, device security, and retail graphics across multiple store layouts across all channels
- Track ROI and KPIs for planogram revenue driven to track back to strategy if planograms are successful
The Retail Merchandising Planner must have:
- 4+ years of experience in retail merchandising planning and project management within retail organization
- Experience managing multiple complex and detailed projects and meeting deadlines simultaneously
- Understanding of the consumer journey, insights and trends
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and engaging with various levels of leadership
- Skills in PPT and ability to present work
Bonus:
- Experience with JDA (aka Blue Yonder) or similar software
- Experience in the wireless or tech industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
