Public Works Operations (PW Ops) is seeking a highly motivated applicant to process payroll and human resources (HR) information. Responsibilities include:
- Process payroll for either the semimonthly or weekly payroll utilizing the City's timekeeping (Kronos) and HR (Munis) softwares and acts as point of contact for employee concerns.
- Assist with various HR functions including interview and onboarding process.
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports for management (overtime, leave, inclement weather, etc.).
- Perform data entry for labor in the City's work order system (Maximo).
- Train employees on payroll/HR related functions.
- Perform records retention for PW Ops in accordance with City policy as needed.
- Provide reception for interviews, meetings, citizens, etc.
