We are looking for a Systems Engineer with a primary focus on Endpoint Engineering for macOS endpoints in a Microsoft driven enterprise infrastructure. The successful candidate will be joining a very dynamic environment and will be responsible for contributing to the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our macOS endpoint environment. You will be an influencer and team member within an established team leveraging Intune. You will ensure that our endpoint environment meet our business requirements and provide a world class user experience for our clients while protecting the firm.
Primary Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement and manage appropriate security measures.
- Technical specialist, focusing on engineering efforts related to implementing/enhancing endpoint infrastructure activities.
- Participate in the evaluation and definition of the User Experience, specifying standards for how applications and desktops should perform, anticipating user interaction with upgrades and patch management, optimizing user interfaces, and ensuring intuitive, elegant system design and optimal supportability.
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
- Assist in driving user experience design improvements that engage and motivate employees to do their work effectively.
- Assists with coordinating with network, server services, and security teams to resolve issues and ensure a consistent and compatible configuration across the client infrastructure.
- Ensures security compliance through patching, encryption, configuration management, energy management, remote device management, and reporting/visibility.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of the macOS endpoint deployments and management.
- Enhances automation of applications, systems, and platforms and identifies opportunities for streamlining, and continuous process improvement.
- Contributes to team vision to drive new capabilities against a published roadmap, in conjunction with management.
- Ensures that proposed and existing systems are aligned with organizational standards, goals, and objectives.
- Integrates diverse solution components across the platform using industry standard interfaces.
- Promotes and supports a culture of compliance, risk avoidance/mitigation, and corporate accountability throughout the organization through technical leadership, knowledge of business need, development and communication of policies, procedures, and plans, and assurance of solution designs that follow architecture standards, technology guardrails, security, and operational guidelines.

Technical Skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience configuring, deploying, and managing governance of a modern macOS endpoint infrastructure environments at scale
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Cloud Concepts.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Entra AD/Intune (Platform SSO).
- Proficient knowledge of integrated components, including SCEP/NDES Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, Configuration Profiles, permissions, and authentication.
- Familiarity with other integrated components, including Windows Server AD domain services, AD Certificate Services, AD Users, Groups, and Computer management, and Group Policy Objects.
- Working knowledge and hands on experience in Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Active Directory, Power BI, macOS, Windows 11.
- Proficient in at least 1 scripting language (zsh, bash, or the like preferred).
- Familiarity with using vendor provided APIs.
- Possesses skills to provide consulting on Apple and Microsoft topics and designs with team members and other peer teams.

Education Qualification and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent area of study.
- Industry certifications in relevant areas is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT industry in relevant area.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$103,300.00-$149,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
