2025 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM LifeSciences Product Development

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!

The LifeSciences Product Development internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate science environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the LifeSciences PD team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING:

• You will learn histology to stain normal and diseased liver tissue for disease.
• You will identify disease markers in liver tissue and correlate this marker expression in human hepatocytes cultured in LNHs leading cell culture system, TruVivo.
• You will be working with a LS PD member and will have the opportunity to study histology and microscopy while also experiencing the laboratory technique of cell culture.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

* You must be actively pursuing a bachelors degree. BA degree in Biology preferred.

* You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate pursuing a graduate degree.

* You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 2 August 8), full-time, 40 hours/week.
