Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in leadership and strategic roles.
Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and methodologies.
Leadership: Strong leadership and strategic planning skills to drive cybersecurity initiatives and deliver results.
Client Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact with senior executives and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex cybersecurity issues and develop effective solutions.
Project Management: Proficiency in managing large-scale cybersecurity projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.

Compliance/Framework Experience in one or more of the following:

NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-30, ISO 27001/2, HIPPA, GDPR, FFIEC, CIS, COBIT, HITRUST, CSA CCM, AICPA SOC 2, Third Party Risk Management, IT Risk Management

Industry Experience – significant experience in one or more of the following industries:

Financial Services, Health & Life Sciences, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Retail, Public Sector, Mergers & Acquisitions

Cybersecurity Experience Requirements

Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, Strategy and Compliance – candidate must be experienced in the cybersecurity lifecycle such as maturity & risk assessments, program development, policy management, control review/design/development/testing, GRC tools/technology, and in cybersecurity domains such as IAM, Cloud Security, Data Protection, Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, Incident Response, Incident Recovery, and Threat Identification and Analysis.
