Job Summary:
The Training Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling training programs for employees and contractors. This role ensures that all training activities are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Execution:
- Perform duties with detailed instructions and guidance, demonstrating basic problem-solving skills and limited discretion in making independent decisions based on procedures.
- Schedule all required ILT, CT, skill progression, and technology training classes for employees/contractors within established compliance periods with moderate oversight.
- Maintain master calendar with new and recurring required training and communicate to business partners for registration and enrollment with moderate oversight.
Innovation:
- Embrace new ideas and engage in continuous learning to contribute to team efforts on new projects and initiatives.
- Proactively identify and resolve inaccuracies with course setups, employee/contractor compliance records, and training reports.
- Collaborate with technology supervisors and design teams to set up, test, and validate digital exams, acknowledgements, and assessments.
Relationships & Networking:
- Forge productive work relationships by displaying good interpersonal skills during collaborations with internal/external business partners.
- Build productive work relationships by asking probing questions which facilitate understanding of business and scheduling needs.
- Collaborate extensively with training managers and business partners to minimize and address out-of-compliance risks.

Education and Work Experience:
- Minimum 18 months of equivalent time/experience in a related field.
- High School diploma, GED, or higher.
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
Required:
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Infrequent Travel (0 to 5%) Incumbent may be required to travel on a very limited basis. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
