Overview
Essential Functions:
Sally, a division of SBH, is looking for a qualified intern to join our Merchandising Team. The Intern will be responsible for assigned Merchandising projects during the 10 week program.
This intern should be prepared to work cross functionally, have exceptional organization and communication skills, and be able to work effectively and with detail in a fast paced environment. A final presentation to senior leadership (topic TBD) will be required at the end of internship.
You will finish this internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Merchandising. This is a hybrid role reporting into the office in Denton TX 2 days a week.

Primary Duties:
- Help with organizing product data, including pricing, SKUs, and descriptions, for internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records of merchandising activities and provide reports as needed.
- Participate in product assortment planning and markdown strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Pursuing a major in Merchandising or Business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - particularly in Excel and Powerpoint

- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to use data to understand and analyze complex business problems and solutions
