Job Description
The Revenue Assistant provides essential clerical and administrative support to the Revenue Operations team. This role includes the preparation, review, and modification of client invoices to ensure accuracy and timely processing. The position supports Revenue Coordinators, Controllers, and Managers with billing, collection-related inquiries, and processing requests. Additional responsibilities will involve performing general administrative tasks to facilitate the efficient operation of the Revenue Operations department.Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:
- Assists with editing time and cost records, as directed.
- Collaborates on generating, reviewing, and editing client invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies, client agreements, and guidelines.
- Retrieves collection documentation upon request by partners/attorneys or management.
- Generates WIP and A/R reports, as requested.
- Maintains proper filing of backup documentation to ensure complete audit trail compliance.
- Assists with e-billing submissions, downloading of rejection/adjustment information, summarization and preparation of related communications.
- Supports Revenue Managers with quality control reviews and audit compliance.
- Provides additional administrative support such as filing, providing client invoice copies, pulling disbursement back-up, as needed.
- Performs additional responsibilities as required by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to utilize computerized accounting and payables software programs (Elite 3e is a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, primarily Excel and Word.
- Strong mathematical skills and numeracy.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task to effectively meet deadlines in a high pressure environment.
- Discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Estimated salary range is $55,000 - $65,000. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
