This position has the opportunity to sit hybrid and/or remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and compliant development, production and delivery of all response documents/forms.
- Contribute to the writing, editing, organization and formatting of proposal submissions.
- Ensure the RFP response corresponds directly to the individual requirements of the client/prospect request to provide a timely and compliant submission.
- Create a compelling and persuasive impression of NFP’s experience and capabilities in all submissions including solution differentiators (e.g., NFP’s value proposition, appropriate references, supporting documentation, etc.).
- Ensure responses are developed following NFP’s established standards, processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create new content, when necessary.
- Review and edit RFP responses for compliance, message, completeness, grammar and formatting.
- Maintain the proposal library by updating content and eliminating redundancies.
- Find ways to enhance proposal content as well as develop fresh and creative ways to illustrate that content.
- Develop and maintain business and technical knowledge relevant to NFP.
- Perform all other responsibilities as assigned or as required.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications:
- Superior reading comprehension and writing, skills, including the ability to understand RFP requirements.
- Experience responding to formal RFI, RFQ and RFP type requests and working knowledge of complying with applicable process, response, legal and compliance requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Expert working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint and Smartsheet.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Business, Communications, or English degree, preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years RFP and Proposal experience.
- General knowledge, understanding, experience in the retirement advisory industry preferred, but not required.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 – $80,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.
