The City of Chesapeake, Virginia, Planning Department is seeking a motivated person to join our team and help provide daily assistance to customers. This position offers the opportunity to learn all facets of planning in great detail with the opportunity for advancement. Some knowledge of City Codes, land use planning tools, the public hearing process, a comprehensive plan, and area studies/plans is beneficial. You would also assist with website updates and other important roles to keep citizens informed of Planning projects and upcoming meetings.
