Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Patient Representative
  • Position type: Contract
  • Location: Syracuse, New York
  • Job/ Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
As a Patient Representative, you will be required to have:
  • Pleasantly answers phones all day long, and schedules patient's appointments within physician guidelines.
  • Ability to take a high volume of incoming calls, ensuring excellent customer service to callers with the delivery of information and inquiry of specifics of one's condition for scheduling purposes while being accurate in documentation.
  • Communicates well with others via phone, email correspondence & instant messaging.
  • Reschedules patients correctly & timely in system.
The ideal candidate must have:
  • Must have excellent telephone demeanor experience.
  • Consistently asks appropriate questions of new patients and schedules with appropriate
  • Utilizes triage nurse as necessary when there is a question about appointment availability or urgent situations that arise.
  • Ensures the insurance information attached to the appointment is updated and informs patient of necessary requirements for their appointment such as (referral, insurance cards, electronic check in process, records, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Allscripts system; how it is utilized when dealing with registrations, appointment scheduling, referrals, etc.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*: $19 -$20 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
