New Police Officer Testing 
City of East Peoria, IL

Applications and all forms for employment must be completed and returned with all required documents to the East Peoria Fire and Police Commission at P.O. Box# 8010 East Peoria, IL. 61611 and postmarked on or before 11:59 PM, Sunday, February 2, 2025. No late applications will be accepted.

Applications will be available at East Peoria City Hall, 401 West Washington St. and online at cityofeastpeoria.com starting January 6, 2025.

APPLICANTS MUST:
1. Have attained the minimum age of 20 years at date of orientation
2. Be under the age of 35 unless otherwise exempt by statute
3. Be a citizen of the United States
4. Be a high school graduate or have obtained a G.E.D.
5. Have the ability to pass each phase of the Police Officer examination process
6. Have a valid driver’s license
7. Attend the mandatory orientation
8. Understand all applicants are subject to the rules and regulations of the Board of Fire and Police Commission

FAILURE TO PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS WILL RESULT IN THE REJECTION OF YOUR APPLICATION.

THE MANDATORY ORIENTATION WILL BEGIN FEBRUARY 15, 2025, AT 8:00 AM AT FONDULAC PARK POLICE STATION 305 SPRINGFIELD RD, EAST PEORIA IL 61611, FOLLOWED BY THE MANDATORY AGILITY TEST AT 8:30 AM. THE WRITTEN TEST WILL FOLLOW AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE AGILITY TEST.
