Job Description With supervision installs, tests, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and removes electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems and related equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
--Assists with the install, testing, maintenance, repair, and the removal of electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems and equipment.
--Assists with the testing or experiments requiring selection and adaptation of modification of a wide variety of test equipment and test procedures. Assists in setting up and operating equipment and records data.
--May respond to fleet emergency calls from customers and assigned field service personnel and maintains an inventory of parts and tooling for all field service operations.
--Assists in the preparation of documentation and coordinates the movement of these items to assigned field operations.
--Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
--Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School/GED plus 6-years of relevant work experience to work with basic electrical/mechanical/hydraulic instrumentation tools and hardware related to Mk45 LWGS.
--Excellent oral and written communication skills.
--Intermediate level proficiency with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, database, email, and calendar software.
--Ability to gather information from a variety of sources.
--Working knowledge of the organization's structure, management, and policies.
--Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
--Ability to work effectively with other personnel, inside and outside the organization.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Relevant coursework or training related to Navy weapon systems.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
