Lead Integration & Workflow Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Integration & Workflow Engineer to support the delivery and expansion of an enterprise AI-driven document ingestion and workflow automation platform. This role will focus on backend integration, workflow orchestration, and ensuring scalable, production-ready solutions.


Key Responsibilities

· Lead backend and API integrations across multiple enterprise systems

· Design and implement workflow automation and orchestration solutions

· Support AI-driven document ingestion and processing pipelines

· Act as technical escalation point for development and delivery issues

· Collaborate closely with architecture and cross-functional teams

· Ensure delivery of high-quality, production-ready code

· Drive best practices across CI/CD and cloud-based development

· Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions


Qualifications (Must-Have)

· Strong backend development experience with API integrations

· Experience with AI or agent-based systems

· Hands-on experience with workflow/orchestration frameworks (BPM, event-driven flows) with hands- on experience on workflow automation platforms

· Experience working with enterprise multi-system environments

· Cloud experience (Azure preferred)

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

· Proven track record delivering production-grade applications

· Strong communication skills with ability to lead and guide delivery

· Experience in insurance or financial services environments

· Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

· Experience with GitHub (including Copilot or AI-assisted development tools)



Seniority & Profile

· Senior / Lead-level engineer

· Strong backend focus (full stack not required)

· Ability to operate as technical lead + escalation point


Contract Details

· Initial term through October 31, 2026 (high likelihood of extension)

· Hybrid work model (2 days onsite)

· Interview process: 2 rounds (~30 minutes each)

· Target start: late June / July
