Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Electrical Design Engineer

Position type: Full-time - Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Atlanta, GA

As Electrical Design Engineer, you will be:

Responsible for electrical systems and equipment design of complex aircraft interior and entertainment system modifications.
Perform research and surveys to determine the best methods to modify aircraft to accomplish project statements of work.
Design new electrical parts, assemblies and installations defining aircraft modifications.
Perform electrical analysis and substantiation of new parts and installations.
Produce engineering drawings, reports, material lists and work instructions to document & install aircraft modifications.
Provide engineering checks of data produced by peer groups or other project participants.
Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation of aircraft modifications.
Interface with customers, suppliers and other project stakeholders pertaining to modification projects.
Provide guidance and oversight to engineering peer group, and mentor new engineers to operate within departmental practices and procedures.
Provide statements of work, cost estimates, completion schedules and other project administrative inputs.

The ideal candidate will have:

S. in engineering or related scientific field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
Three (3) years overall work experience, two (2) of which in a design engineering role.
Good computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with 2D CAD systems and MS Office programs.
Good knowledge of aircraft electrical systems design processes, materials, fabrication methods and aerospace hardware.
Experience in working knowledge of substantiation techniques and FAA regulatory requirements.
Experience in order to effectively utilize aircraft continued airworthiness data.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in Knowledge of aircraft interior cabin electrical, avionics and entertainment systems, Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60- $65 Per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
