What We Do

CBX Connect is a fast growing provider of technology infrastructure in the MDU space, specifically currently focusing on Design, Installation and Support of managed Wi-fi in student housing. Position Overview

CBX is currently looking for a Director of Sales to focus on expanding into new relationships with large property owners and operators to identify & close new technology deployment and conversion opportunities.   If you’ve ever wanted to work on the cutting edge of smart building technology and connectivity, with a team that dares to be different and pushes each other for exceptional results, then this is the role for you! 

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for new sales activities; including all prospecting, proposals, and closing deals
  • Aggressively build and manage an accurate sales funnel
  • Experienced in selling to all levels of the organization, including executives, navigating through multiple decision makers in complex organizations, and proactively managing objections to reach a positive outcome
  • Maintain a high volume of activity, including outbound calls, emails, & social selling
  • Consistently outperform your quarterly and annual sales quota
  • Create and determine the ROI for all prospects
  • Will be responsible for implementing policy and procedures related to sales and procurement
  • Follow up on implementations associated with new product and service sales
  • Demonstrate a consultative sales approach with a high-energy presence
  • Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation

Ideally, you'll have

  • 5+ years of experience in sales preferred
  • Sales experience in providing technology services within the Real Estate industry (Student Housing highly preferred)
  • Strong track record of proven achievements in selling technology services preferred, specifically distributed wi-fi with a focus on both installation contracts and recurring monthly service contracts
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented individual with punctual follow-up skills
  • Ability to identify, qualify and prioritize prospects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional yet approachable communication style
  • Technically savvy, ability to navigate and maintain CRM software

  • Current relationships with owner/operators and management companies in student housing or other multi-family real estate

Disclaimer: Please note that job responsibilities, reporting lines, and duties outlined in this job description are subject to change to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Base salary starts at $100,000 annually, with final compensation dependent on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for uncapped performance-based commission, starting at 5% of total project NOI dollars. On-target total compensation, including commission, typically starts at $150,000 annually, with opportunities for increased earnings based on performance and meeting sales targets.
