The Opportunity, Inclusion & Belonging (OIB) Coordinator, based in Los Angeles, provides coordination, project, and operational support for the firm’s opportunity, inclusion, and belonging priorities. Reporting to the Director, OIB, this role works closely with and supports the Manager, Opportunity, Inclusion & Belonging on the planning and execution of programs, events, communications, and resources that help foster connection, engagement, and an inclusive employee experience across the firm.
What You Will Do:
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of OIB programs, meetings, and events, including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, communications, and follow-up.
Provide day-to-day project and administrative support to the Manager, OIB, while partnering closely with the Director, OIB on team priorities and implementation.
Help coordinate Inclusion Network activities and other community-building initiatives, including meeting preparation, agenda development, notes, action-item tracking, and follow-through.
Assist with the delivery of firmwide OIB programming, including educational sessions, cultural observances, and engagement opportunities open to all employees.
Prepare, organize, and maintain presentations, communications, resources, and other materials that support OIB initiatives and internal stakeholders.
Track program data, budget information, and key metrics, and prepare summaries, reports, and presentation materials as needed.
Support the coordination of sponsorship requests, tracking, and related events, including maintaining records, monitoring timelines, preparing materials, and partnering with stakeholders to help ensure smooth execution.
Partner with colleagues across Talent, HR, Recruiting, Communications, and other business functions to support the effective delivery of OIB initiatives.
Maintain calendars, trackers, and operational tools that support strong planning, organization, and execution across the team.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, and workflows to enhance team efficiency and consistency.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience preferred, ideally in a law firm, professional services, human resources, talent, recruiting, employee engagement, or a related environment.
Experience supporting programs, events, inclusion initiatives, onboarding, or other talent-related work is preferred.
Experience creating presentations, coordinating project logistics, and working with data, reporting, or budget tracking is a plus.
Standard business hours with the flexibility to work after hours including evenings and weekends as needed and ability to work in-office as required by the firm’s hybrid work guidelines.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
Strong analytical and administrative skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, and reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams, and comfort learning new systems and tools.
Demonstrated cultural awareness and an interest in supporting opportunity, inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement initiatives.
