MUST:
Chief Operating Officer Multifamily Construction
Experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with 12 years experience in managing construction projects.
Proven leader with extensive experience in multifamily residential construction, project management, and operational leadership.
Demonstrated success in the execution of large-scale projects, and driving operational excellence across all teams.
Minimum 12 years of experience in multifamily residential construction and development.
Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager or similar role in the real estate development industry.
Proven track record of managing large-scale multifamily projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with construction management software and tools.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
DUTIES:
Oversee and optimize the operations of our multifamily real estate development and construction projects
Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and project success.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align construction operations with company goals.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of multifamily residential development projects.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Implement systems and processes to streamline construction operations and enhance efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and manage construction crews, project managers, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture across teams.
Ensure optimal staffing levels and resource allocation for all projects.
Monitor progress on all projects, address challenges and identify solutions proactively.
Ensure the highest quality standards are met in all phases of development and construction.
Conduct regular site visits and provide hands-on leadership when necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes efficiently.
