The Role

As a Digital Solutions Co-op Associate, you will support the delivery of benefits-related websites for a variety of clients. Your responsibilities will include documenting business and data requirements, entering and maintaining site content, supporting the creation of test and production data files, reviewing website functionality (QA), validating the user experience, coordinating internal and client testing, and providing business validation for technology procedures like single sign-on and security scans. You will serve on multiple project teams simultaneously and as a member of those teams, you will work directly with clients, internal partners, and programmers. To be successful, you must be highly motivated - a self-starter who establishes ownership and is capable of driving digital solutions from concept to reality.

The Expertise You Have

  • Experience/curiosity about digital communications and being on a team that supports the delivery of websites to meet unique client needs

  • Experience with data management tools (e.g., MS Excel)

  • Majoring in Digital Communications, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or subjects applicable to web/digital solutions

  • Prior internship (a plus)

The Skills You Bring

  • Ability to clearly define detailed business and technical requirements that ensure all parties share a common vision of the project's scope and functionality

  • Ability to interpret and manipulate data sets, and perform basic calculations

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to ask critical questions to proactively identify potential problems as well as paths towards resolution

  • Excellent time management skills, including a strong aptitude to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to work within budgeted timeframes to help maintain client profitability without sacrificing quality

  • Ability to simplify and present technical, complex concepts to non-technical business partners

  • Ability to execute on tasks autonomously, while remaining coordinated with a broader team

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office.

At Fidelity, we value honesty, integrity, and the safety of our associates and customers within a heavily regulated industry. Certain roles may require candidates to go through a preliminary credit check during the screening process. Candidates who are presented with a Fidelity offer will need to go through a background investigation, detailed in this document, and may be asked to provide additional documentation as requested. This investigation includes but is not limited to a criminal, civil litigations and regulatory review, employment, education, and credit review (role dependent). These investigations will account for 7 years or more of history, depending on the role. Where permitted by federal or state law, Fidelity will also conduct a pre-employment drug screen, which will review for the following substances: Amphetamines, THC (marijuana), cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine.
