Position Description:
Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced-and friendly-private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations.
Assist financial advisors in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
This role provides client relationship support through interacting directly with clients to ensure accurate account set up and through acting as a liaison to answer client questions. The role will also perform other practice management tasks relating to client service as needed. Respond to ad hoc requests, coordinates/manage advisor calendars, screen inbound phone calls, support sales team on miscellaneous practice wide initiatives such as specific data gathering for client households.

Responsibilities and Time Allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the hiring advisor. Schedule is full-time in-office with potential hybrid schedule (select remote days) after 90 day probationary period assessment.

Onsite for first 90 days then performance/skill-set assessment to determine eligibility for a hybrid office/remote schedule.

Position Functions:
50% Business Management

  • Work with home office to ensure accurate account setup and resolve issues

  • Extreme ownership of calendar management across sales team (diligent outreach to clients to set up appointments)

  • Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy

  • Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisors

50% Client Care

  • Answer client inbound inquiries and commit to same day replies

  • Follow-up as needed to ensure prompt completion of post-meeting action items

  • Conduct transaction requests as directed by financial advisors and/or clients

  • Promptly enter post-meeting client updates as tasked from team members

  • Support and educate clients to enhance digital experience through adoption of our recommended tools/resources

Education & other designations:

  • College degree or higher

  • 2+ years of similar experience (customer service/support & business processing)

  • Welcomed, but not required: Already have or be able to study for and pass exams for federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance license

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000/ year. Additional benefits for our full-time staff include 401k match, Life and Disability policies, health insurance, PTO (policy varies by tenure with the company)
